ukraine... til the end!

We arrived in Kiev, friday 10th in the morning... We went directly to Katya's flat. Katya is our host in Kiev. Ira, her flatmate opened to us... katya is taking a shower.. she hqs to go to work! We will see on evening.
Walking in kiev... I like the city. Less dorty than Bucharest. Less destroyed than Bucharest... We had a long walk throught the city... park, river, museum of Chernobil... amazing... We wanted to go to Chernobil but that's very expensive. We have to take a "tour" which costs more than 200€... On saturday we go to visit some place with Katya. Some shopping... it snows... Victor bought 2 tickets for a ballet... I'm not really interested. He hopes to meet a beautiful girl in the street and ask her if she wants to come with him... He goes alone... With Katya we go to visit one of her friend, member of hospitalityclub. She comes back from moldova and we are going to taste moldovan wine. After the ballet victor comes.
Sunday, some shopping, visiting different cool bars. Monday i feel sick... Probably the disgusting chili con carne i ate the day before... We leave to L'viv at night.

Everybody told us that L'viv is the most beautiful town in Ukraine... Unfortunately we don't think the same. L'viv is nice, ok, but nothing exceptionnal!! Maybe if they do some restoration, close the old center to cars and clean the city that could become a really nice city... We stay only one day and leave to Ternopil.

Kristen, a german girl teaching german in this city is waiting for us at the train station with a friend. We go to a party with locals... The party takes place in a kind of restaurant and this restaurant is on the first floor of a bloc... strange place... We are more than 10 at our table... We don't understand anything except that they drink a lot of vodka... And they feel very disapointed when we try to refuse the glass of vodka they offer to us.. so we also dring (a lot of) vodka... Everybody dances, young and old people together... Two wonderful musicians are playing a so delicious music (irony...you are my best friend!) I feel a little bit bored...
The day after we go to visit the city... We walk on the lake... some fisher men... A tour around the city.. quickly done... We go to buy train tickets to Bucharest.

The plan change a bit. As we deceid to spend our last day in Kamyanets-Podilsky, 4h south of ternopil, we will take the train from Chernivtsi in south of Ukraine.
Kamyanets-Podilsky is said like one of the most touristic place in Ukraine. The site of the old city looks a little bit like Oreihul Vechi. There is a old castle but anything really amazing... We find a frozen water-fall quite huge and we go inside it! That's really cool!!!

We arrived in Chernistvi at night. Luba is our host for our last night in Ukraine. Visit of the city by night under the snow... We see some ice-sculpture. Nice! The train is at 7:00 am so we have to wake up at 5:30am... In fact i won't wake up cause I won't sleep... Talk a part of the night and watch Friends!
Luba comes with us to the train station... She explains to the controler why we didn't take the train in Ternopil and go home to sleep. Good bye Ukraine...
